Our Adjutant Track seeks to properly define and identify the responsibility of the Adjutant within the church. Our english word is derived from the Latin word Adiutare, which means; “to aid or assist, to keep on helping”. An Adjutant is a servant who ‘assists and advises a bishop on liturgical, ceremonial and protocol matters; and, administratively organizes and executes ceremonies, services and the directives of the bishop’. Adjutants are charged with enacting the fundamentals of our ceremonial, liturgical and protocol traditions.
This class is open to all but specifically designed for Adjutants/Assistants/Armorbearers.
This class only takes place in the Spring during the annual School of Episcopacy. Make sure you register for this event and select the Episcopal Studies Track as one of your class selections.
